"Beyond the Circle”
This artwork celebrates togetherness within Tacoma's Asian American community, centered around the Lincoln District. Each element in the piece draws from Washington State's symbols and Tacoma's history, weaving together the beauty, passion, and purpose of its people that make up the heart of Tacoma. This art style of choice is used to help represent the extravagance that resonates when diverse communities are able to find a sense of belonging in one place - that Tacoma is home even beyond the circle.
